In October 2016, the Retired Teachers’ Association of Newfoundland and Labrador (“RTANL”) made a donation to Mazol Shriners as one of their various charities for 2016. The donation took place at the RTANL’s annual meeting which was held in Gander.
Ill Sir Elmer Ryzuk accepted the gracious donation of $5,000 from Roberta Pafford on behalf of all Mazol Shriners. Ill Sir gave a short presentation on how donations to Mazol Shriners are used. He used the story of one of our Newfoundland and Labrador patients, Malcolm Hollett. Malcolm’s story can be read in more detail on this website. The RTANL were very appreciative of his explanation and of the good work of Mazol Shriners.
