The Potentate and Chief Aid accompanied by their Ladies visits The Harold Duffett Shriners RV Park in Eastport

Nobles,

This past long weekend the Potentate and Chief Aid accompanied by their Ladies visited The Harold Duffett Shriners RV Park in Eastport.

What a wonderful weekend it was. These are just a few of the photos of what took place. Shrine Patient Malcolm Hollett spoke to the audience at the concert and got a standing ovation. What a remarkable young man he is.

Over 14000 dollars was raised by the campers over the camping season and was presented to the Potentate during the weekend. What an amazing accomplishment this was.

The meet and greet on Friday night was attended by over 125 campers and the Potentate personally greeted every one. This was the start off to the weekend and certainly contributed to the overall success that was witnessed by all

Saturday was very special. The Nobles and their ladies met at the Eastport Town Hall and the Shriners Flag was raised and the month of September was declared as Shriners month in Eastport a first for the area.

Later coffee was served at the park Recreation Center and in the afternoon, a helping of soup and sandwiches were served to over 150 campers and guests

To say that it was a perfect weekend is not doing it any justice. It was above top shelf.

The weekend ended with the gospel sing at the Center again to a full house. What a wonderful experience it was.

To sum up, well I can’t, I’m speechless. So many kind comments, so many warm wishes., it was a weekend of what Shrine should be

Thank you to all especially the park board and all the campers and thank you for the invitation back. It will certainly happen

Until next year, God Bless you all.

Robert
