The Northeast Shrine Association (NSA) is comprised of the Temples located in the Northeastern section of North America. They consist of: Aleppo (Boston); Anah (Bangor, Maine); Bektash (Concord, New Hampshire); Cairo (Rutland, Vermont); Karnak (Montreal); Kora (Lewiston Maine); Luxor (St. John, NB); Mazol (St. John’s, NL); Mount Sinai, (Mont Pellier, Vermont); Philae (Halifax, NS); Pyramid (Stratford Connecticut); Rhode Island (Cranston, Rhode Island); Sphinx (Newington, Connecticut & Tunis (Ottawa, ON). Every fall during September or October there is an annual Fall Convention or Field Days in which the NSA membership meet for the purposes of creating a desire for Shrine membership among eligible Masonic brethren, to promote cordiality and friendship among the NSA Shrine Temples and in general to promote the welfare and continued growth of Shrinedom.
The location varies each year giving each Temple involved an opportunity to host the Field Days once every 15 years.
This year it is being hosted by Luxor in Fredericton, NB, Sept. 22, 23 & 24. In 2017 it will be in Ottawa to coincide with Canada’s 150th birthday and in 2019 it will be held in Corner Brook!
We have booked a block of rooms (10) at the Delta Fredericton at a cost of $144.00 + tax per night along with many discount coupons (20% off breakfast etc.). Rooms are limited & would suggest you book NOW by calling 1-506-457-7000 and quote “Mazol Shriners”. The cut-off date for rooms is August 22nd and after that date, you’re on your own!
