The Anniversary dinner and dance, celebrating St. John’s Shrine club’s 60th Anniversary and the Ladies of the Sabre’s 50th Anniversary is taking place on June 10th, 2016.
The following is an article written by Paula Dingle.
“Fifty years ago, in 1966, some of the wonderful wives of the Nobles of the St. John’s Shrine Club, came together to form a group called The Ladies of the Sabre.
Their sole purpose and mission was to support and assist their Nobles in all they did.
In the last 50 years, the Ladies of the Sabre have worked side by side with our Nobles to help raise money for our very worthy cause….our shrine patients.
I am proud to be a member of such a worthwhile group. Our ladies work tirelessly on fundraising events and without everybody working together we could not have the success we do in reaching our ultimate goal of helping our children that need us.
This 50th Anniversary is an amazing milestone that we all should be very proud of and celebrate . “
