CTV News W5’s full episode on Canada Ukraine Foundation’s third medical mission to Ukraine “Healing Hands” will be broadcast nationwide on CTV on Saturday, January 30 at 7 PM. In addition to the Saturday broadcast, W5 will air Saturday at 10 p.m. ET and Sundays at 5 p.m. ET on CTV Two, and at 7 p.m. ET on CTV News Channel.
It will feature patient Mykola who was brought to Shriners Hospitals for Children – Canada from Ukraine where he had suffered trauma from a grenade. He is a triple amputee. His sponsor is the Canada Ukraine Foundation. This is a full hour show and the season opener in which among others, we follow Mykola in his first few weeks with us. CTV will also do a follow-up story once he is walking and has his hand prosthetic.
