Compass Shrine Club makes $10,000 donation to special OI Project

The Compass Shrine Club in Mount Pearl recently made a very generous donation in the amount of $10,000 in support Lady Sharon Rose’s OI Home Splint Kit Project. The money will be used by our Shriners Canadian Hospital in Montreal to produce and publish a colouring book which will help kids who are dealing with Ostiogenesis Imperfecta (OI), or Brittle Bone Disease. This is all part of the Hospital’s efforts to become an International Centre of Excellence for osteogenesis imperfects research.  Mazol’s Hospital Board representative, Ill Sir Roger Tinkham, made the presentation during a recent Board meeting in Montreal.

Way to go, Compass Shrine Club and Lady Sharon!
